Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information PeachyPR collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. If you have any questions, email us at contact@oxrated.com.

What we collect

When you contact us. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, business name, the service you're interested in, the message itself, and your mobile number and budget if you choose to give them. We use this only to reply to you and deal with your enquiry. The form is delivered to our inbox by our email provider, Resend.

When you join the newsletter. Signing up to the OxRated newsletter takes you to Mailchimp, which stores your email address and sends our newsletter on our behalf. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

When you browse the site. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you personally. Like every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run the site securely.

Cookies

This site doesn't set any cookies. The welcome screen on the home page remembers, for your current browser tab only, that you've already seen it. That information never leaves your device.

Other services

Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and our map tiles from CARTO, so those services will see your IP address when your browser requests them. Links to Instagram and to the restaurants we review take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. We keep newsletter sign-ups until you unsubscribe. We never sell your information.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email contact@oxrated.com and we'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page.
